Small Business Week: After Hours with DSRF

Inclusive employment strengthens businesses, individuals, and our community - and long time BBOT members, the Down Syndrome Resource Foundation are partnering with local businesses to support inclusive employment opportunities for individuals with developmental disabilities. 

Learn all about how inclusive hiring can support your business, and enjoy networking in the DSRF offices at this classic After Hours. DSRF's Employment Program offers one to one, personalized support for individuals whether seeking employment, needing support in their current job, or working on specific employment goals leading to promotion or new job opportunities.

The Down Syndrome Resource Foundation's mission is to support people with Down syndrome and their families with specialized education and therapy services, information resources, and rich social connections so that each person can flourish in their own right. 

Their vision is a Canada that values and empowers people with Down syndrome. DSRF provides: group programs for youth and adults with Down syndrome, one-to-one services for individuals and families at all stages of life, and Down syndrome resources to equip parents, caregivers, and professionals.

This event is kindly supported by ODEN - The Ontario Disability Employment Network. A Province-wide organization that brings together businesses and Employment Service Providers to increase employment opportunities for job seekers who have a disability.

Small Business Week is a national celebration of Canadian entrepreneurs and their contribution to Canada's economy.
