Dana Martin, Vice President, Indigenous Financial Services, Scotiabank - Dana joined Scotiabank in 2004, and gained experience throughout Western Canada while taking on progressively senior leadership roles within Retail Banking. In the role of Vice President, Indigenous Financial Services, Dana carries a national mandate where she is responsible for growing Indigenous Financial Services by leading business development across Canadian Business Banking. She also collaborates with partners in Wealth, GBM, and Retail Banking. She also plays a key role in community engagement and is integral to advancing the Bank's Indigenous relations. Across from her many professional accomplishments, Dana is the Vice Chair at the Burnaby Board of Trade. On a personal note, Dana is a proud citizen of the Metis Nation of BC, grew up in rural Alberta, and loves to travel.
Panelists:
Tammy Rea, Regional Manager for Women in Enterprise, TD Bank - Tammy looks after the British Columbia and Yukon markets, and her role is to support women-controlled companies in their personal and business financial journeys. Tammy has been providing her clients with innovative personal and business banking solutions for over 35 years, starting her career at Canada Trust and working her way through various retail bank branches leading to management roles, which continued when TD and Canada Trust merged in 2000. Since that time, Tammy broadened her career by taking a step into TD’s Business Bank, where she has held the roles of Area Manager for Business Banking and Regional Manager of Professional Banking prior to taking on her current role supporting Women in Enterprise. Tammy is a community minded individual and has spent her life volunteering with different business associations and charitable organizations across Canada.
Rebecca Pang, Regional Vice President, Business Financial Services, RBC - Rebecca leads more than 200 advisors across BC to deliver exceptional client service and advice to business owners. Previously, she has been the Vice President Treasury Solutions, the Vice President, Commercial Financial Services, and the Senior Director, US Strategic Business Development for RBC. Rebecca was the recipient of RBC Convention Award in 2021 as well as RBC Global Citizen Award in 2020. Prior to RBC, Rebecca has various progressive careers in China, Hong Kong, the United States and Canada. Rebecca holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with Honors in Accounting from the Chinese University of Hong Kong, was an HSBC Scholar at Columbia University, and earned an MBA from Stanford University Graduate School of Business. She also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst, Chartered Business Valuator, and Certified Treasury Professional designations. Rebecca currently serves as the board of Yee Hong Foundation and as an Advisor for the Ted Rogers Leadership Centre. She was previously appointed as the Dean Council Member for the Ted Rogers School of Management at Ryerson University and served on Board of Directors at the Toronto Zoo and Multiple Sclerosis Society in Toronto.
Kelly Khakh, Director, Member Experience & Product, Marketing, Prospera Credit Union - As Director, Member Experience and Product at Prospera Credit Union, Kelly Khakh provides oversight, leadership and direction to the Member Experience, Member Insights and Product teams. Kelly is extremely passionate about coaching, mentoring, leadership development and supporting diversity, equity & inclusiveness efforts. She has over 25 years of work experience in the Financial Services industry and the Credit Union system. Kelly holds a Masters in Business Administration and a certificate in Criminal Justice studies in addition to many other leadership and financial industry designations. Outside of her role at Prospera Credit Union, Kelly’s philanthropic work has included serving as a committee member of CICS at University of the Fraser Valley, Fundraising committee member and member of the granting committee with Abbotsford Community Foundation, Fraser Valley Indo-Canadian Business association, BC Cancer Foundation, and BC Children's Hospital Foundation-Miracle Maker Program.
