About the speaker:

Jahan Ghaemi taught Microsoft Certified Courses, along with the CompTIA Network+ course, during the late 90s and early 2000s. He helped companies adopt virtualization technology in the early 2000s. When he moved to Vancouver, he assisted small business owners in implementing ESET Endpoint protection. Jahan was also an early advocate for Fortinet Security appliances among small business owners. Currently, Jahan works as a Managed Service Provider at Microage Canada, helping small business owners protect their data both at the office and at home on their network. With over 20 years of experience, he specializes in designing redundant and secure networks. Jahan is a proud father of two children and cherishes his growing relationship with his wife. Originally from Iran, he embarked on an adventurous journey to Canada, passing through Germany, India, and the United States along the way. He studied Management Information Systems at Cal State Northridge and later received his BS in Management from the University of Maryland. In his free time, Jahan loves to hike, and you can often find him on Grouse Grind on any given Saturday.
