This year we'll begin the AGM with a keynote from Shelley Frost, CEO and President of the PNE.

Building on the momentum of last year's 2025-2028 Strategic Plan, we'll highlight the progress made across our core pillars: Amplify Advocacy, Fuel Economic Development, Uplift Members, and Elevate Experiences, and outline how this work will continue to drive impact for our community.

As always, we'll introduce our newly elected Board of Directors. These accomplished leaders represent a diverse cross-section of Burnaby's business landscape and bring their expertise and perspective needed to help foster a  a thriving, inclusive, and resilient local economy.

Alongside key updates, advocacy highlights, and organizational milestones, the AGM provides a valuable opportunity to network, exchange ideas, and strengthen connections with fellow members and community leaders.

About Our Keynote Speaker

Shelley Frost has served as President and CEO of the PNE since 20218. She is incredibly proud to be the steward of such an iconic organization and public space, and she looks forward to an incredibly exciting year and decade ahead for the organization. Shelley's previous experience includes 20 years as a senior-level executive in sales and marketing for the PNE, a publicly traded technology company, and providing consulting and freelance expertise for tech companies and arts and culture groups based in Canada, the US, and Europe. She holds an MBA in International Business and commits time to several Boards and Advisory Committees including current roles as Vice Chair for the Capilano University Board of Governors, and Advisory Board member for Transoft Solutions International software company. She is excited to share the PNE's bright future with you today.
